In my search for new musical discoveries in recent weeks, I came across a captivating band: Night Crowned. Hailing from Sweden, they navigate the waters of melodic Black/Death Metal with remarkable ease. To begin this soundscape, I chose their debut EP, Humanity Will Echo Out, released in 2018 on Black Lion Records.
This 15-minute EP makes no compromises. From the very first seconds, it plunges us into a world of typically Swedish melodic black/death metal. The frenetic rhytjm, haunting melodies and hard-hitting solos, acompanied by powerful vocals testify the band's talented compositions. This first EP gives me an irresistible urge to explore the rest of this promising band's discography.
