From the opening track, Life Is Not a Miracle, plunges us into an obscure melody that lays the fondations of this release. The songs are both melodic and rhythmic, a masterful balance during the 50 minutes of the album. The vocals are screaming and amplified, and are aesthetically counterbalanced with clear, sung vocals. This vocal duality enriches the musical composition and takes the songs to another level.

Life Is Not a Miracle offers us a Melodic Black Metal when the guitars and bass blend with the keyboard melodies, creating a captivating sound. The frenetic drumming adds an intense rhythm to the album. The release is also marked by Doom Metal influences, perceptible in several passages. This touch adds an extra heaviness listening soundscape.

Among the highlights, Dagelijks Brood and Chock stand out for their exceptional vocal performances. These tracks demonstrate a powerful energy and a coherent musical structure. Be on Your Way also stands out for its ability to captivate the fan of the genre from the very first note. A narrative voice can be heard in certain passages, such as on the track Thresh.

As the album progresses, the music becomes more and more interesting. The album reaches its peak with The Hound, the longest track on the release. Here, all the facets of Life Is Not a Miracle are brought to the fore : frenetic and melodic rhythms, high and clear vocals, Doom Metal passages and recurring tempo changes. The track is a symphony of contrasts, perfectly representing the essence of the musical composition of the album.
